Another producer, Les Serres Royales, opted for quality, by selecting CF-Boiler equipment to ensure continuous heat for the production of their greenhouse tomatoes with a Compact C750 hot water, 8 MW boiler.

This equipment is combined with an electrostatic filter to meet the standards of atmospheric emissions as the fuel used is mainly construction residues with a presence of glue, thus requiring this type of smoke treatment equipment. To facilitate the combustion of this very dry and dusty fuel, the firebox has been adapted accordingly, with water-cooled walls, without refractory concrete, and thereby reducing temperatures.

This acquisition allowed the customer to replace a boiler at the end of its life-cycle and since its commissioning in late 2017, it also allowed for interesting fuel savings as construction waste is less expensive than forest chips.
